Sealed bids are requested by the San Antonio Water System for Construction of approximately 2,735 LF of 8-inch water main
for Dumbarton from Military to Copinsay Water Replacement Project, SAWS Job No. 05-5007.
Sealed bids will be received by the Contracting Office, 1222 N. Main St,
Suite 308, P. O. Box 2449, San Antonio, Texas 78298-2449, until 2:00 PM, August 25, 2005.
Bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud in the Purchasing Conference Room, Suite 315, Cypress Tower, 1222 N. Main St., San Antonio, Texas.
A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will
be held on August 2, 2005 at 11:00 AM at Engineering Conference Room, 9th Floor,CR 902, Cypress Tower, 1222 N. Main, San Antonio, Texas.
Each bid must be accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check, or
bid bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid price.
Interested bidders may obtain a single set of plans and specifications
from the San Antonio Water System's Contracting Office, 1222 N. Main St.,
Suite 308, between the hours of 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The
System requires a $25.00 non-refundable fee per
set.
The System reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any
or all formalities.
