How to Apply for Employment with SAWS

San Antonio Water System,an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer, is a value-based organization that believes in a diverse work force .

To be considered for any position, it must be evident from the application that all minimum education and experience has been met.

Applying for and meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee an interview will be granted. Once an application is submitted, it becomes the property of SAWS and cannot be returned. Applications may be subject to disclosure under the Texas Open Records Act.

SAWS accepts online applications via our secure Career Portal Web. SAWS Career Portal provides a step-by-step profile and resume builder for those seeking employment opportunities at San Antonio Water System.

Please allow at least 30 minutes to fill out a new profile, as well as add information on education, experience, certifications, and preferences. There also is a questionnaire to submit. Have all your documentation, such as work history and resume, ready to input.

There is no need to recreate a profile for each position you apply for. You can maintain the profile and use it for multiple positions. You do not need to create a new profile each time you apply for a new position.

Please remember your user name and password for future access to your profile. Once you have applied for a position, your e-mail address will be used as the primary method of communication.
