Set Your Sprinkler System to ‘Easy’

Irrigation Seasonal Adjustment

Did you know there’s a feature on your irrigation controller that makes setting run times a lot easier? It’s called the seasonal adjust and it lets you fine-tune your controller with the push of a button.

Also called the water budget program, the seasonal adjust function modifies your run times by percentage. For example, if you have a zone running for ten minutes and adjusted the percentage to 70 percent, then the run time would adjust down to seven minutes.

The seasonal adjust should be used at least four times a year, but remember: never exceed 100 percent. That will add more time to your zone settings and more money to your water bill.

To schedule a free personal irrigation checkup for your system and controller,
