Rains Trigger Sewer Spill Near Pinn Road at Leon Creek

San Antonio Water System crews responded to a sanitary sewer overflow that occurred yesterday afternoon near Pinn Road and Leon Creek. The volume triggered the need for the public notice.

No adverse impacts to Leon Creek are expected since the spill has been heavily diluted by storm water.  SAWS crews are continuing to monitor the area and will continue cleanup as the floodwaters recede from Leon Creek.

SAWS is contacting private well owners in the area.
