Spreading the 'Waterful' Word About SAWS

When you go out for dinner or visit a park, do you ever think about the water and sewer infrastructure providing the service you need?

imageSan Antonio Water System has launched a new information campaign to increase awareness about how water and sewer services are essential to every aspect of our lives — from healthcare to jobs to enjoying recreation with our families.

The campaign kicked off with an innovative social media push featuring videos by local celebrities and leaders talking about the importance of SAWS services. Also, television, radio, billboard and print ads will run through November of this year.

The theme throughout the campaign is that “SAWS is making our wonderful city … Waterful.”

Highlights of the campaign include the city’s diverse water resources portfolio; our extensive infrastructure; industryleading innovation and our investment in education and payment assistance programs.

Community partners, including Hemisfair Park and the San Antonio Convention & Visitors Bureau, provided images at no cost, allowing SAWS to extend the reach of these messages even further.
