A Taste of Desal

Genoveva “GG” Gomez, vice president of Engineering & Construction, raises a glass to San Antonio’s water future as she’s about to taste SAWS desalinated drinking water for the first time, Nov. 10, at the H2Oaks Center. Nearby, Ashok Kaji, director of Engineering, awaits his turn at the tap. A public grand opening for the newly completed desal plant, located in southern Bexar County, is scheduled for January.
