Multiple Sewer Spills Trigger Notification

The impacts from this weekend’s rain storms are continuing to adversely affect the city’s sewer system. San Antonio Water System crews are responding to three sewer spills, one in the near south side, one in the far west side of the city, and one in the southwest side.

The spills occurred along the 800 block of Commercial Avenue, the 6600 block of Swiss Oak Drive, and one in the 8400 block of Quintana Road.

Spill amounts are estimated to have exceeded the need for public notice.
