Drinking Water Week Social Media Challenge

 

Students in grades K-12 can join San Antonio Water System in celebrating National Drinking Water Week by submitting a digital image or video about the importance of drinking water to our health and well-being to the SAWS social media challenge.

Entries must be submitted by the student’s teacher and must be accompanied by the signed entry form/waiver.

Contest Information:

  • Four grade categories – K-2 / 3-5 / 6-8 / 9-12
  • All entries must be submitted in a digital format. (See registration form for more details.)
  • Entries must be submitted with a registration form no later than May 4 at noon to lchristopher@saws.org
  • Entries must emphasize the importance of drinking water to our health and well-being.
  • First, second and third place winners will be named in each grade category.
  • Student winners will receive a gift card.
  • Teachers who submit a winning student entry will also receive a prize for their classroom.
  • All winners will be notified via the teacher’s email.
  • First place winner entries will run on SAWS social channels the week of May 7th.
  • All entries may be used on the SAWS website and/or social media channels now or in the future.
