SAWS Simplifies Senior Billing

imageSan Antonio Water System customers 60 years and older will now be automatically enrolled in our senior billing program.

The program provides an exemption for seniors from late fees on their SAWS bill, giving them more payment flexibility.

In the past, customers were required to apply for the senior exemption. Now, eligible customers will receive a notice from SAWS around the time of their 60th birthday informing them they’re enrolled in the program. Those who are already of age will also be automatically enrolled.
