Sewer Spill results from collapsed pipe

A collapsed sewer main, likely triggered by recent heavy rains, resulted in a sewer spill near West Avenue and Wurzbach Parkway. SAWS crews have contained the spill and initiated cleanup.

SAWS has more than $170 million in capital improvements budgeted in 2018 to replace and upgrade sewer lines throughout San Antonio.
