San Antonio Water System’s Senior Citizen Billing Program offers residential customers sixty-(60) years of age and older, an exemption of the late payment penalties for both water and sewer service charges.
Eligibility:
- Must be sixty (60) years of age or older
- Must be a SAWS residential water and/or sewer customer
- Must not be enrolled in SAWS pre-authorized electronic payment plan
How to Apply
Any person wishing to apply must complete an application and submit, along with COPIES of the supporting document stating their Date of Birth.
Below are examples of acceptable documentation:
- Texas Driver’s License
- Texas Department of Public Safety Identification
- Birth Certificate
The applications will be available at any SAWS Customer Service Centers, or by calling the SAWS Customer Service line at (210) 704-SAWS (7297).
