SAWS has six programs to ease the burden of utility costs for customers who qualify. These programs help ensure all residents have access to life-sustaining water and sewer services.
To assist individuals and families in need, SAWS works with the City of San Antonio Department of Human Services on these programs:

SAWS has also empowered its Customer Service representatives to establish payment arrangements and to recognize customers' needs and refer them to various agencies for other possible assistance. In addition, SAWS also offers the following programs:
