Louis E. Rowe, P.E.

As president and CEO of Goetting & Associates Inc., Consulting Engineers, Louis E. Rowe is responsible for the overall corporate direction of the company, as well as for business development and the company's Total Quality Management system.

Rowe has been with Goetting since 1974 before becoming president of the firm in 1991. Goetting & Assoc. is ranked as one of the top 25 mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering firms in the nation.

Rowe received a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from The University of Texas in 1971. He has been a Registered Professional Engineer in Texas since 1976.

Rowe was appointed as San Antonio District 9 City Councilman in January 2008, serving his community through May 2009.

RoweHe also has served on numerous boards and committees, including the Board of Directors of San Antonio River Authority and the Alamo Area Council of Governments, as well as charitable organizations such as the American Heart Association, March of Dimes and Junior Achievement of South Texas.

Current activities include the Alamo Community College District Foundation Board of Directors and membership in the San Antonio Economic Development Foundation and Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce.

With interests in golf, tennis, skiing and scuba diving, he is married to Brenda Kelly Rowe.
