Like many people, you may have taken for granted that we’ll always have enough water. Unfortunately, with the long periods of drought that this area experiences, that’s not necessarily true. And as our population grows, the strain on San Antonio’s primary source of water, the Edwards Aquifer, increases.
We want to encourage residents to continue to conserve as we strive to provide San Antonians with the highest water quality in Texas. We can’t do this alone. We need you to become avid WaterSavers, making San Antonio Waterful.
Why Conserve?
Conservation is the cheapest source of water. Water we save is water we don’t have to buy. Conservation is an important tool in managing our diverse supplies of high-quality drinking water for more than 1.6 million people.
