Jennifer Ingram provides legal advice and counsel to the SAWS Board of Trustees and SAWS management on all issues relating to employment law and litigation, including those related to human resources, risk management, safety, benefits, pre-suit claims, and litigation matters in trial court, appellate court, arbitration, and administrative proceedings.

Ingram joined SAWS in 2022, after previously working in both private law firms and in-house counsel. Prior to SAWS, Ingram served in a variety of roles, including serving as partner at a Texas-based regional law firm, as vice president and associate general counsel for a publicly-traded international retailer, and as counsel at an international law firm. Ingram practiced law in Corpus Christi, then Dallas, before returning to her hometown of San Antonio in 2019. Throughout her career, she has represented clients in all forms of litigation and disputes, including intellectual property, securities, real estate, property damage, personal injury, and commercial contract disputes, and in providing advice, counsel, and representation in all aspects of labor and employment matters, including employee relations, training and development, recruiting and retention, benefits, payroll, health and safety, trade secrets and intellectual property, employee agreements and terms, regulatory compliance, and union activity and negotiations.

Ingram graduated summa cum laude and as the highest-ranking graduate from Texas Tech University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts in English. Ingram then graduated with a Juris Doctorate from the University of Texas School of Law in December 2002.
