Effective for conservation and drought rule violations on or after July 6, 2024
The non-compliance charge was developed to help ensure that all SAWS customers are subject to enforcement of the drought rules regardless of municipal boundaries. The non-compliance charge is based on the costs of drought rule enforcement. More information about the drought rules can be found here, as well as in the SAWS Utility Service Regulations and Chapter 34 of the San Antonio Municipal Code.
